Hello, Hello! Sad that Summer is over but so happy to see all the faces I missed so much over the break!
We are off to a great start, reviewing the basics. The fourth grade made color charts with construction paper. Don't they look awesome!
While the Second grade painted Color Wheels. You can never overdo the importance of understanding color in art!
Next week we are turning our color wheels into individual painting using our knowledge of color mixing.
Drawing basics with three different mediums, charcoal, pencil and pen were explored by the older classes. Just easing back into drawing after the long lazy days of summer.
I can't believe my little preschool friends are now in Kindergarden! This picture is a little dark but I just couldn't resist. As you can see we made crazy party hats with all different types of lines in colorful construction paper and tissue.
And last but not least the first grade celebrated summer with HOT SUN paintings!!
